A. We take orders from 5 to 5000 for each production lot. |
Q. How big is Optima?
A. Optima International Inc. is a privately held company so
we don’t disclose our detailed revenue. But in order to
give you a picture of what size Optima is, our revenue for 2002
was around US$20 million. We had a total of around 300 employees
as of the end of 2002. |
Q. What information
do I need to give Optima if I am interested in your thermoplastic
forming solutions?
A. If you are interested in our ODM solutions, please send us:
1. One sample of your product or drawings (in *.IGS or *.DWG
format)
2. Your demands (material, preference, monthly consumption etc.)

Q. What happens
after we send you all the information?
A. Our project manager will get in touch with you via mail within
24 hrs. We will provide each of our customers with a username
and a password in order for them to log into our customer database
called “Optima Connect”. Our customers will find
all the information regarding their projects such as project
status in MS Project format (or PDF format depending on customer’s
preference), order status, shipping information, RMA request
as well as an FTP file transfer protocol. |
Q. What information
do I need to give Optima if I am interested in PCB layout service?
A. Here is the list of information we need from our PCB layout
customers:
1. Schematic in *.SCH or *.DDB
2. PCB mechanical dimension
3. Component Placement suggestion (where applicable)
4. Power/ground, Clock?Digital/Analog etc. information (where
applicable)
5. Component package information (if schematic doesn’t
have this information) |
